Soup Luncheon & Bake Sale

The United Women in Faith are sponsoring an all-church soup luncheon and bake sale to benefit UWF missions. Asbury’s UWF invites everyone to come to the McCoy Room to enjoy a delicious lunch next Sunday. There will be several varieties of soups and many baked goods to choose from. You may stay and eat with your church family or takeout is also available. 100% of donations (cash, checks, and Venmo are accepted) go to the local, national, and international missions supported by the Asbury UWF. Please see a UWF member to sign-up for work and donations—your volunteerism and donations are greatly appreciated!
United Women in Faith seeks to connect and nurture women though Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence and impact local and global communities.
From September through May, the Asbury UWF meet regularly. The yearly schedule includes General Meetings which are open to all members of the congregation and the community.
There are three circles.
Rebekah Circle meets at 9:30am on the third Wednesday of the month
Hannah Circle meets at 1:30pm on the third Wednesday of the month
Lydia Circle gathers on the second Thursday at 7pm.
The monthly Grapevine, the Asbury calendar, the Asbury UWF Facebook page and the Asbury website, provide up-to-date information.
Asbury UWF raises money for missions throughout the year. A Soup luncheon with bake sale in November, a Chocolate Fare in February, a Flower Sale in May, and year round sale of fair trade coffee, tea, and chocolate, are annual events. These, in addition to members’ donations support work being done nationally, internationally, and locally.
