Music goes beyond words. It can transcend the most difficult barriers. It ties us together like a thread through our hearts. Our skin is many colors but music is in our blood, our bones and our soul.

You are invited to be part of a community musical gathering at Asbury United Methodist Church on Saturday, August 29th from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm. This event exists to celebrate diversity, to embrace the common good, and share together in the desire for peace.  Food trucks, children’s activities, mission opportunities, and interactive stations will be available.

Bring a lawn chair and a water bottle, and if you would like -- a non-perishable food item to donate to People In Need of Delaware County and sit back and enjoy the music!

And if you have a song you would like to share - sign up below to play a piece or two (max time limit is 7 minutes) - for all to enjoy. All ages are welcome. All levels of talent welcome. All instruments and vocal performances are welcome (as it is a community event, we ask lyrics be family friendly). There will be a children’s section as well - all children are welcome to offer a piece or two.

Let’s join together on the last Saturday in August as we share our talents, our passions, and our music. Together let us show the world the power that music holds - a power that invite peace.
